Bath Gamma
Garden Club
About Us
Beautifying Bath since 1957
Our History
This club was founded in 1957 so that people could come together and share their love of gardening, as well as their interest in beautifying Bath and protecting native plants. At the time, we were the third of four garden clubs in Bath. Each of the groups were named according to the order they were founded in: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta. Despite being the only remaining club from that era, we’ve kept the Gamma in our name and are now proudly known as the Bath Gamma Garden Club! Throughout the years we’ve maintained a strong sense of community, and we proudly carry on the traditions of our founders to ensure that the gardens of Bath are not only protected, but also admired and appreciated.
Our Mission
Our goal is to preserve the legacy of community landscape for younger generations. Members organize, install, water, and weed plantings within Bath, including the four public gardens we’ve created. Not to mention helping each other to care for our own well-loved gardens. Each month we come together at Hale Farm to share ideas, trends, and methods for gardening, as well as socialize and have fun! We lend a generous hand to community events and even organize some of our own, such as the Annual Community Seminar and Raffle. It’s a fun evening with loads of gift baskets and auctioned items, completely open to the public for all to enjoy! All in all, the Bath Gamma Garden Club works towards bettering our beloved town with a shared passion of nature and gardening.

Membership Information
The Bath Gamma Garden Club meets once a month at the Hale Farm Gate House. We schedule our monthly meetings in the evenings to accommodate the busy lives of our members. Most of the field trips we plan are scheduled on Saturdays for the same reason. New members are always welcome, especially beginners that have just started gardening. While our meetings are generally open to the public, you can only attend three before you are expected to officially join the club. More specific details about membership commitments are listed below. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us using the button at the bottom of the page. Happy Gardening!
